I do my drum track...(Drums On Demand) in ACID....because it still seems a bit friendlier than REAPER for me...(as far as drawing out the loops and such), but .... and I'll try to keep this as short as possible. I have a file called Reaper projects, and then sub files for each song.....except....I just discovered, when I rendered the drum tracks....they have been left in an ACID file....since, I was just cleaning up the ACID files which of course I'm not using.....and....YES....NOW I HAVE NO DRUMS IN ANY OF THE SONGS I WAS WORKING ON....because the drums obviously stayed in the ACID folder, and REAPER just knew where to find them. Fortuneatly....I was only working on garbage...so no big loss there, (otherwise this would be my Suicide Goodbye Letter), .... fast forward to now, (the rest of this having been last week), I've started a new song, same way as before.....but, I copied and pasted the drum track in the Song file....well, I just did a "Clean Project"...and it erased the copied and pasted version. If I move the original WAV drum file to the "Song" file...will it know it's the one to use..... Does any of this make sense?
