Strut Brace Problem

Hi there, As some of you might know, I have bought myself a 1994 850 Turbo, and plan on doing some little modifications, but nothing major. I have fitted a genuine Volvo strut brace to my car, with some slight modification to where the ABS connector was located. The problem is, the brace sits against the brake fluid reservoir. What I really am asking is; Is This A Problem At All? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :kilt:

The Volvo strut brace for the 850 is for the 95/96 model. My 95 T5 has the gen strut brace and is up against the brake reservior like yours. I have had it on for over a year and has been ok thus far. I was worried as under heavy braking etc the bulk head will flex so I was worried this would cause damage to the system, but as I say has been ok.

Was just wondering, if it did become a problem, is it possible to just take a fluid reservoir from a newer 850 and fit it to my 1994 one? Just a thought!

thanks my car has a bracket coming off the N/S top mount (just out of shot on the right of the picture) so was wondering how this sits with the strut brace in place
